He won 1998 Olympic Gold Medal for Czech Republic and shut out Russia in championship final. Five-time winner of Vezina Trophy. Twice he won Hart Trophy as NHL's Most Valuable Player. Twice he won NHLPA's Lester Pearson Award as the League's oustanding player. Led NHL in save percentage in six seasons. Naled to NHL First All-Star Team five times. Four times named NHL Player of the Month and six times names NHL Player of the Week. After the Hasek and the Wings won the Stanley Cup in the 2001-2002 season Hasek retired. But after one season Hasek has come back in the 2003-2004 seaon to playe for another cup.
