Kevin Weekes got drafted in 1993 41st overall by the Florida Panthers. In 1997 Weekes got traded to the Vancouver Canucks. Then mid way threw the 1999 season he got traded to the New York Islanders. But at the starting of the next year Kevin got traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning. And then half wat threw the 2001-2002 season he got traded to the Carolina Hurricanes. kevin Weekes played so good in the 2002-2003 regular season that he bumped him self in front of Arturs Irbe to get the #1 spot.
