Fleury played his junior career with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagels. Also plyed for the junior Team Canda team taking home the silver medal. His great play with the Screaming Eagels and Canada turned some heads of NHL teams. So Fleury was drafted 1st overall in the 2003 NHL draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. With the Penguins goaltending problem Fleury will be the future of the team. Fleury will most likely play with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to get more experience but that could chamge and he could become the backup or main goalie in a blink of an eye.
