Alex Auld got drafted by the Florida Panthers 32 overall. But not much long after Auld got traded to the Vancouver Canucks. In the 2001-2002 season Auld got called up 1 time against the Dallas Stars. Not only did Alex win the game he also got the shutout. In the 2002-2002 season Auld got called up when Dan Cloutier got hurt. He played 8 games in that span. Going 5-2-1. And in the playoffs this year Alex got called up to play backup to Cloutier in the playoffs. Auld is one of those goalies who has a great chance of being a #1 goalie when we dont know but some day.
