In 1994 Marty Turco got drafted 124th overall by the Dallas Stars he played many years with Michegan State. And in the 2000-2001 season Turco got a taste of NHL action. He played 26 games 13 wins 6 losses and 1 tie. Playing backup to Eddy Belfour he knew he wouldent play many games. Then in the 2001-2002 season Belfour had a very bad year playing 60 games 21 wins 27 losses and 11 ties. That year the Stars did not make the playoffs. So the following year (this year) Belfour got traded to Toronto. And left Marty the #1 goalie.
